Financial Aid

CEI initiated and sponsors an Academic Awards Dinner for freshmen, sophomore and juniors at Jefferson High in May. Besides honoring students with top grades in each department, the dinner highlights students, tutors and student artists. Seniors are already recognized for their achievements at the school.

CEI assisted more than 10 students with partial scholarships to help Daly City students attend various college programs in the summer, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

CEI pays for each advanced placement and honors student to visit at least one college campus in the UC system. We also paid for three students to attend Stanford University’s summer Junior Statesman Program.

CEI also picks up the costs for advanced placement students to take their SAT and AP exams, if they cannot afford it.

CEI pays for all former SWAS students’ caps and gowns for graduation (approximately $1,500 for 37 students).
