CEI has operated the Learning Center as an after school program at Jefferson for seven years. It offers students a quiet place to work, tutors to help with homework, computers and healthy snacks.
- It serves on average 60 students daily and more than 80% of the Jefferson student population yearly.
- Some of the students in the Learning Center are required to be there because they haven’t been doing well in class. But it’s open to any student who wants to come.
- Local College Students and Advanced placement and honors students provide one-on-one tutoring if needed.
