The 21st Century After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSET) Program is offer for free and it helps keep our young people off the streets.  It gives them something to do after school while providing a healthy snack.

It might be help in finding a job through a program offered by the Daly City Youth Health Center.  It might be instruction in break-dancing, writing lyrics or being a DJ.  It could be ping pong or chess.

Or just healthy snacks, along with music and conversation with friends.  It’s not unusual to hear young people singing together in the Jefferson cafeteria.

ASSET serves more than 200 young people after school on the Jefferson campus.  The program offers an alternative to risky, unsupervised activities off campus.  CEI leads a coalition of agencies, including
