Children’s Empowerment, Inc. (CEI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that provides educational in-school and after-school academic programs to minority high school grade students in Daly City, California.

Founded in 1999, we have been working in Daly City since 2000 in partnership with the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD).

CEI focuses on all students, honor to high-risk, in underperforming Daly City public schools who want to achieve but face formidable economic, cultural, and linguistic barriers to their educational success.

Through CEI’s learning centers, scholarships, health and fitness curriculum support, and mentorships, we help transform many of these challenged youth into gifted, ambitious, college-ready members of the community.
