Mission Statement

Children’s Empowerment, Inc. (CEI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that
provides in-school and after-school academic programs to at-risk middle and high school grade students in Daly City, California.

Founded in 1999, we have been working in Daly City since 2000 in partnership
with the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) and the Jefferson School
District (JSD). CEI focuses on students in underperforming Daly City public schools
who want to achieve but face formidable economic, cultural, and linguistic barriers
to their educational success.
